Who do you Believe?

“Who has believed our report?"

Isaiah 53:1

Isaiah 53:1 poses the question: "Who has believed our report?" As born-again believers we are to believe God's Word, His report, above all else. God's report says that by the stripes of Jesus ~ we were healed. (1 Peter 2:24) Yes, the doctor's report might be a fact, your body may be screaming at you with pain, weakness and symptoms, and your friends and family may say it's impossible; but God's report declares that Jesus Christ purchased your healing. It's done. It is finished.

When evidence to the contrary conflicts with God's Word, as believers we must choose to stand on the immovable Word of God. We don't deny the facts or the symptoms; we simply and irrevocably deny their right to remain in our bodies. How do we bring God's Word into our present reality? We do it by believing in our hearts the truth of the Word and confessing it with our mouths. (Romans 10:10) Jesus Christ bought and paid for your healing at Calvary; but you alone are responsible to believe it - despite your symptoms, the doctors report, or lab results. God's healing power will begin to work in your body the very moment you believe, whether or not you look or feel healed.

The world says: "seeing is believing." But according to the Word of God: "believing is seeing." Jesus told Martha: "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?" (John 11:40) You, too, will begin to see your healing manifest once you believe it in your heart. You've got to believe what's true in the spiritual before you will see it in the natural. It is essential to fix your attention on what God's Word proclaims rather than what your natural senses tell you. The way we bring spiritual truth into physical manifestation is through believing and confessing the truth. (Romans 10:10)

Spiritual truth works from the inside-out. It begins in your spirit and works its way out into the physical. Let me encourage you - it may not be physically evident immediately, but eventually your body will reflect the truth of God's Word. As believers, we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) Whose report will you believe?

DAILY DECLARATION

Holy Spirit help me today! I acknowledge that according to God's Word, I was healed and made whole by the stripes of Jesus Christ. I admit I don't understand how over 2,000 years ago Jesus bore my sicknesses and diseases; but I choose to believe it because the Word says it. I refuse to be intimidated by the adversary and his lies ~ but, rather I boldly believe and declare that I AM HEALED!
