Want to be Victorious?

"The mouth of the upright will deliver him."

Proverbs 12:6

One of the unique characteristics of a seasoned born-again believer is that despite evidence to the contrary, they believe and say what God's Word says about their circumstances. While the world is dominated by their five senses, the true believer will be dominated, not by what they see, hear, feel, taste or smell - but solely by what God's Word says. As we meditate on God's Word, we come to believe it in our hearts; and subsequently we say it with our mouths.

Speaking God's Word is key to living a victorious life as a believer. Just as our heavenly Father spoke at creation, so He has given us the same ability. You are made in His very image. God created with His words, and so can you. The spoken word of God is a creative force. Speaking what you see and feel in the natural and is contrary to the Word of God will only serve to perpetuate your situation. We magnify what we focus on. Speaking God's Word will turn your focus to the solution and will deliver you. In the Passion Translation, James 3:5 declares that "the tongue is a small part of the body yet it carries great power." Your tongue can imprison you or empower you!

When pain and symptoms are arrayed against you, turn your attention to your favorite healing Scriptures. The Word assures us that He heals all our diseases, what is impossible with man is possible with God, and that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds. (Psalm 103:3/Mark 10:27/Jeremiah 32:17) Allow God's Word to take preeminence over your physical symptoms. Your mouth can change your situation and will deliver you!

DAILY DECLARATION

Today, I choose to magnify Your Word over the physical/mental symptoms I see and feel in my body. I declare Your abundant life flowing within me brings health and healing to every fiber of my being. I cooperate with Your Word and use my mouth to bring deliverance to my body.
