“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children,
you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 18:3
These are the words of Jesus, spoken to His disciples when asked who was the greatest in heaven. The magnitude of this statement, often overlooked, is profound. When we become born-again believers, we are a part of God's family. We are His children. Jesus said that to enter the kingdom of heaven ~ we must become as little children. He also said that the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21)
Think about your own children, grandchildren, nieces, or nephews. If you tell them you are going to take them to Disneyland for their birthday; not only would they believe you, but from that day forward they would begin to imagine the big day. They might imagine eating cotton candy, riding the roller coaster, and just being overwhelmed with the sight and sounds they were experiencing! That's what children do ~ they believe (without question) and they imagine.
God has given each one of us an imagination; to use throughout our lives. On any given day you will use your imagination. For instance, if someone asks you for directions to a certain place, as you explain the directions to them, you would be imagining them. There is a godly way to use your imagination to your benefit. The Lord said about the children of Israel, in Genesis 11:6 that nothing they imagined doing would be impossible for them.
We, as children of God are to believe Him and His Word without question. And then it would be wise for us to use our eyes of faith to see those truths as real. If the Word says that you are healed, (Isaiah 53:5) then you are ~ despite physical evidence to the contrary. You must see it on the inside before you see it on the outside. Begin to see yourself healed and whole. Close your eyes and use your eyes of faith to see yourself doing what you couldn't do. Become as a little child and use your God-given imagination (the eyes of your heart) to see yourself as God sees you ~ healed and whole by the stripes of Jesus Christ!
DAILY DECLARATION
I choose to see myself as God sees me. I am His child. I belong to Him. He is my Father and I believe what He says. Today I will use my eyes of faith to see myself healed and whole. Whatever I keep before my eyes will eventually show up in my life.
